Meet Attorney Joseph G. Muzic, Jr.
Joseph G. Muzic, Jr. focuses his practice on insurance defense, general civil litigation, and he represents disabled individuals eligible to receive short term or long-term disability benefits.
He received his B.A. from Millersville University in 1976 and his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law in 1989. He clerked for the Office of Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Tort Litigation Unit.
Mr. Muzic is admitted to practice before the state courts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He has extensive litigation and trial experience having taken cases to verdict in eight counties and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as litigating cases in nineteen counties and federal district courts.
Mr. Muzic is a Board Certified Trial Lawyer by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has been a speaker on insurance defense issues on numerous occasions at the Pennsylvania Claims Association State Convention and the Harrisburg Claim Association Symposiums.
His leisure activities include his membership in the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horseman’s Association as a licensed owner by the PA State Horse Racing Commission. Mr. Muzic is also a charter member of the International Chili Society and was the winner of the 2007 PA State Chili Cook-off and competed in the World Championship Cook-off the same year.
